wow COOL...the only problem is that it gives unprecise readings on shiney (refective) objects.

How accurate is it for tyre temperatures? Might get one if they're good.

It seems quite accurate. It can measure heat on surface of glass, skin,walls, engine parts and at a good distance. Have not tryed tyres but see no reason why not.

Quite true, reading on temperature may be wrong but it can allow you to get them all the same. Tryed it on stainless cooking pot. Works just fine.

That's what I like. Positive thinking. Surely if you are one of those guys with shiny pipes it travels in van most of the time. It probably does not run anyway!
