A bit sad I know and I can't wait to throw a leg over the old girl when the fine weather arrives.
So what have you done with your triple/Bike/life this week?

Not so long ago I would have gone to RB"s instead to go through his final parts
Just like the club, Times are a changing

Finally got stuck into the Kawasaki J1T rebuild at the weekend. Coming on nicely, reckon it's going to be fun, if a bit slow!

Re: So what have you done with your triple/Bike/life this we
Decided to take a break from the little monster and get Orville ready for its first thrash of the year at Mallory at the end of February. Its a father and sons trip so should be a great laugh ,if not a tad competitive
First on the list was to get the clutch action a tad lighter, so in the engine spares that I got off Georgina was a truly great find, a ball bearing clutch actuator, so this has been stripped, cleaned, greased and reassembled, the cable has been lubed and i now have a clutch that I don't need to eat spinach to use. Annoyingly i lost the pics i took of this process
. And will now be on the lookout for another one for the little monster, anyone
second on the list was to improve the gear linkage which has always been a tad sloppy and getting worse just lately so with a bit of tube and washers for spacers this is the result.

For Mallory and the like I have put on the longer silencers , this has meant i cant use the bobbins and paddock stand, so with a different style of stand and a foot from a bathtub I have used the bobbin mounting as the support

now the longer silencer don't hit any bobbins
Third on the list was the application of a sponsors sticker( yer right
) to the underside of the tail unit. it got trashed at Shakey doing the burnouts

and lastly a damn good deep clean, it hadn't been cleaned since the last track day in the pissing rain and got used on dirty roads boxing day, so it was well in need of a clean

Came up a treat really
Roll on Mallory

I have just received my V5C from DVLA with my age related uk registration number for my H1E.
Just got to get some modern tires as is still on originals. I will probably get some Roadrunners, unless any one has some recommendation.
