SimonH2C from one mile to Gary wins the trophy for the longest ride to come.
But sadly, just have a call from Gary, he is in England but his gear-box is locked out and he is waiting the AA !!!!
Bad week end for Gary but it was a pleasure to meet him again

yes many thanks for your hospitality JP
thanks for the company jeff and simon and nick joy
boy what a weekend
Simons pipe snapped in half
my pipe split down the seam,i holed a piston at 100mph
uphill,on the way back the ignition rotor fell apart so we repaired it and guessed the timing enough to get the bike running at 60 mph
the got through the tunnel and i think a selector fork has snapped
the gearbox has locked up.
i might go back next week and have another go Jeff ?

Glad everyone got back ok in the end. Gary, it sounds like you came up with some excellent "keep it going" bodges to get (nearly) home, well done
i was SO determined to ride home, but as the recovery driver said
you cant replace a gearbox at the side of the road

To go on the track you must have a leather suit or a leather jacket and leather trouser.
I fit my old race leather suit, I could fit it but not really breathe.
So I toke my red leather jacket and bought on saturday morning a leather trouser.
But have still my denim

Have a lunch with Alan (leagal eagle) and his wife Allison.
They should be on the british dinner on saturday evening in my home and I've given them my exact adress in PARIS but without the phone number, my mystake.
They put my adress on google earth UK and got the road but not in PARIS but in a suburbub town near PARIS: MAISON ALFORT (which was the town on which lived Gilles HUSSON!!!!)
So they have been ready at 7.30 PM but on the wrong place.
They have done a video of the H1 event very nice and I expect to see them on the north-west or on the northern.
Was a nice lunch except for peculiar reasons they both speak english
So if you come to visit me in PARIS, remember I live inside PARIS and PARIS isn't like LONDON, the suburbs are the suburbs and not a part of PARIS and ask me my phone number if I've forgotten to give you
