As i said to you in the past, people like us who were not in the computor industry and are mainly self taught by trial and error need the youth of today in many cases to help us master technology!El Presidente wrote:

I could not have mastered the MAC without having my childrens services to fall back on,mainly Michael!
Changing to the MAC has made it easier for me especially the club magazine.

Re: RB`s Site?
I don't understand why you have so much trouble with your forums Rick?
I set the KH & S Series Forum up in 2006 (free) and other than going advert free a few years ago and a couple of header picture changes I have never touched it. In the 10 or so years it has been running we have never had a glitch

It's the platform ( host site) you use. It's what the club should have used. Good site Simon.g6mow wrote:I don't understand why you have so much trouble with your forums Rick?

if you wish to quote me, that's fine. But please use the quote button provided, not a variation of my words.

Re: RB`s Site?
I`m hoping this may help ? I have always been a "lurker" on Rick`s site and always accessed the site from a bookmarked page on my browser straight into general chat which still takes me to the forum ok. As I was`nt registered I thought I would give it a go to see if the site was still functioning at all and pretty quickly I received my welcome to the site and account activated e-mails.
So earlier I tried to access Rick`s site using my newly acquired log in details and from my bookmarked page to general chat, once I hit the log in button it went straight to a website unavailable page error and it looked like the site must be broken after all then but I thought I would give it one last go and lo and behold when clicked on my bookmarked page again I found that I was logged in and could access all the topics via the "jump to" button at the bottom of the page also I could also post a new topic within the site.
I was`nt the only one on the site either as it was also showing 3 guests as well as myself so site is still available even if in a limited way and my post had been viewed 3 times too , hope this helps until site back up and accessible normally.

Re: RB`s Site?
I must be missing something here. I just went to Google, searched for 'RBs Kawasaki'. It came out top search in search engine and when I clicked went straight to the site fine.
Maybe it's just come back on line?

That's his old website Bic, not the Forum.
I got a mail asking for Zytec to be Activated when I accepted there was no Forum website available.

Re: RB`s Site?
I can access it through my desktop shortcut to "view new posts".
But if I then click on the Board Index page it crashes with this message:- Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in /home/kawasaki/kawasakitriplesuk.com/index.php on line 77

Re: RB`s Site?
It kicked me out a few weeks ago and won't let me sign in with my old name/password. Just looked there now and it seems to be running again.
