I agree. Shame Andrew didn't remember all the nice people in the club that he has met and who have helped him out.

yes, it will happen, but not as a club event,no support from the club,it will come out my pocket,so weekend out for who wants to come, not much point of being a club event, if the club puts feck all into it

Have you asked the club for support for the event Andrew?
I dont think the club has ever not supported an event where help has been asked for?

Ktc club insurance will not cover events abroad!
The event would have to be at visitors own risk.
It's no different to our Dijon trip. At riders own risk

Fer feks sake. Whatever happened to a few guys meeting up and having a few beers. Oh, we need insurance. No we fucking don't. And if we don't do it as the club, our own insurance covers it. Also, why do you think you will have to pay out of your own pocket Andrew? Jesus H Christ. We've all lost the plot.

okay Roger,I was hoping to have found a plot for camping/mini rally/food/beer tent/toilet/venue, and prodded to find if the club could support, seems the answer is no,so,perhaps we can still do similar, but there is a cost,if shared by all who wants to come, and firm numbers would be needed, then i will arrange something, would be good to have a focal point to meet.

Ray,sorry,in the uk driving coaches for a month or two, backDecember Thumbs Up
