To Ivan or not To Ivan that is the question??

Guys advice please
My H2C Is about to be completed after 14 months full restoration my bike is running Wiesco pistons, Higgspeed pipes and Ram Air pod filters should I fit an Ivan jet kit or not, if so where can I buy one from in the UK please?
Lastly I live in Norfolk and I would like some assistance in getting my bike running set up perfectly, I don't want to ruin all my hard work
Can anyone recommend someone within reasonable range please ?

Ivan is a lot of money for what is just a needle, everything else is standard and can be bought over the counter for yourself. I finally plunged for the kit last year, my bike still kicks and bucks a little on overrun, athough to be fair it has improved.

I've heard good reports of BDK over near Attleborough http://www.bdkraceeng.co.uk Their web site isn't very inspiring, but I'm having a few ignition/carb problems and they are about the only people in Norfolk I've heard of that might be able to help with strokers.

The Ivan`s jet kit is well worth the money, I fitted a kit to my H2C over the winter.

I am close and can give you a hand set up the bike to ride. But not very close at the moment (offshore Denmark). Will be home on the 26th may. When will you be ready ??

I have fitted Ivans kits to both my H2 and H1. H2 was improved sooo much that I did'nt even try the H1 before installing Ivans kit.

Ivans kit does not include the air screws. So for what it costs I would replace the air screws with new from Mikuni as well. If you have any sort of mix on the air screws it will be a long process to get the bike running correctly.

I've just had an Ivan's kit fitted to a H2, it did come with pilot jets and everything else needed, it's like chalk and cheese. The bike is a lot crisper , doesn't hunt/surge anything like it used to, overall, very pleased with it so far

Ive got them on my bike H2A. I had a coil problem which confused the situation re setting up but now thats sorted I am a lot nearer to a solution. One issue i have had since fitting them is the sense that one cylinder lags behind on the pickup at high rpm small throttle opening. I rather hoped the coil cure would have fixed that but no, its still there. Ive prooved its not the ign boxes, carb blancing, air leaks, ign timing and many other things so im now to a point where i will refit the original carb parts to see if the fault goes away. I intend to give the needles and emulsion tubes a close examination to see if there is some issue re manufacture.

Othere issues that it may be -
carb clean needed? - exhust baffle difference (i have one baffle plate missing on one pipe but straight through baffles may remove this issue if i can be bothered to make some? -

carbon buildup in pipes/downpipes?

blowdown/leak test? (relatively recent crank rebuild so i hope this is not it),

Coils - May try a set of new coils (non oem) for 60 quid

One the plus side its better round town, less surging.
