I've just started my h1f for the first time,I primed the pump first with a drill so I knew if it was pumping it started and sounds great but it smoked for the first 2 minutes and now it doesn't put much out,should it smoke a lot,my other h1e smokes like a trooper and it's all new inside cheers andy

If the Pump is working right and with modern oils there should be just a little smoke but as you found, starting up usually produces quite a bit until it scavenges the bottom end..
But some of these old bikes now insist on a blue cloud, my S1 is a good old smoker and I'm convinced she never used to be

Just for piece of mind though, check that the drive to the pump rotates when the engine is turning. I check it personally (it only take a minute or two) but most people just accept that if the Rev counter works then it's driving the pump.

Check the filter at the bottom of the oil tank and make sure it's clear

I rebuilt the pump that's why I primed it with a drill to see if it was pumping ok I'll check the filter,I guess I'll premix the fuel a little just to be safe until I'm sure
