The best time was by T Bork, a Norwegian, 8.83 a new European record , and the worst time probably about 17 seconds , not not sure ! :)

Also many thanks to Nipper and Gary for organising the drag meet , also many thanks to Nippers son Dean,s girl friend who did an excellent job with the race board , coordinating with the control tower, with our dial in times ! :)

Great weekend again .. Many thanks to nipper,sue & terri for hearding cats in the fire up road :lol: fantastic hog roast on the saturday night thanks to nippers buddy & the club Thumbs Up & a big thank u to nick64 for running the rally side of it all & also Jerry collier for sponsoring the drag racing side off the event top bloke he is .. Well done kenny for taking the title this year & look forward to next year already wherever it might be 8)

Ditto Pete a really great weekend despite the weather, some bikes there the like of which you will not see again, thankyou to my new viking friends for their effort in bringing them over.

great job Nick and nipper and all involved in its organising Thumbs Up

For me two great days of racing, laughter and drinking what more could you want? oh I know a 13.5 second run that's what 8) 8) 8) 8)

Ditto . . . wot he said!!! probably worst time was Rich on his '72 H2 @ 19 seconds :shock: But, in his defence . . . The bike was sucking oil in from the gearbox on the R/H cyl it had also been recently fitted with DENCOS and over jetted . . . I caned the arse off it and managed a paltry high 14 second quarter . . . But, you know what, Rich enjoyed his first attempt at dragging . . . . and I have little doubt that not only will he be back but the bike will be a LOT faster!

On a personal note, I just LOVE seeing all my pals that have been there for . . decades!!! The ONLY things I miss about England are the pubs and my pals . . . . I'd have slept on a soggy airbed in the rain just to see all the miserable old gits that I have been seeing for up to 35 Years now Thumbs Up

I truly had a great weekend, very well done to Kenny but top marks to Mark for organising it and for all of the people in the background who made it such a great weekend, including a great ride out through some great scenery,I will indeed be back, builders not withstanding Thumbs Up
Great to see El Presidente and thanks for being so gentle with my H2 during your performance investigation :lol:

Now I have to say the weather was not to kind but it did not dampen any ones spirit, the weekend was fabulous.
