Help wanted . . . .

Post by El Presidente »

Yep, anyone fancy a free holiday in Michigan ? .
.
Just as it says, I may need some help loading a container (2 days @ 5 hours) and labour here is difficult to find at this time of Year, also I have some bikes to fix . . . So, Basically, you must be physically fit, have some mechanical abilities and be willing to do 4 - 5 hours work a day . . . and play the rest of the time . . .
.
Free flights, bed, board Etc . . . Oh, its not worth coming out for a week, so , from Sept 5th thru to September 18th ? - PM me if interested . .

Would love to but have already committed to a rare holiday starting on 16th with her indoors! Missed opportunity or what?
It's a great life if you don't weaken. Die strong! Or at least take pride in how you look while unconscious!

I'd love to me as well . . . . If I was 15 Years younger! The "Poly Myalgia" I managed to attract 2 Years ago has taken it's toll, nothing like as fit as I was or I'd load it myself  (I still do a LOT of the work anyway) . . . I have had a couple of reply - watch this space

Hi Rick,
Have just viewed your post with interest. I am a retired ex RAF engine fitter with 22 years at the helm and also ten years with the NHS as a technician. I have restored several motorcycles in the past and so feel that I may be able to help you out. At time of writing, am fighting fit, not afraid of hard work and like a pint or two. My current bike project is an early H1, but completed an H1E some time ago when spares were easier an less expensive to find.
We have actually met in the distant past when you were still based in Nottingham and helped me out with engine and paintwork.
If you think that I can help you out, please let me know as the dates are no problem.
Best regards,
Pete Vickers.

Would have jumped at the chance Rick as I have always wanted to visit the States just once before I end up in my Box but as usual reality steps in & cannot get time off from Work! :( - Rats & Double Rats!!!.
