H2c side panel badge needed

Where's the best place to get a replacement side panel badge for an H2c?

I managed to lose my left hand side badge at the Southern rally on the morning run out to the coast. Someone behind me saw it fly off - it just missed his head!

I've found the one on Kawasaki Triple Parts for £26.00 (Jeez!) Not sure if this is a NOS or copy

I guess there are maybe other options for genuine parts versus pattern? (And do they always come with the circle clips to hold them on?)

The badges I sell are excellent copies ( I defy anyone to tell the difference once fitted) they do not come with clips. Most customers fit with double sided automotive tape. In the grand scheme of things £26 does not seem too bad.

Others of us put a thread on the spigot and run a nut n washer down to hold them on.

Gorra be careful though, it's a very soft metal.

Just want to shout out some great feedback to Simon at Kawasaki Triples Parts.

Ordered a pair of badges on Monday. Got an email that they were dispatched Monday night. They arrived this morning.

They are indeed beautiful, well made and I can't fault the quality so very happy that my problem is solved in 48 hours.

Yes, got a personal e mail saying they were dispatched. Not just the usual automated bollox.

Now I'm deciding how to make sure they don't fall off again.

Simon doesn't supply the circular clips with the badges so I ordered a set of clips from Z Power. These may be OK but no better than original spec.

Talking to other forum members at the Southern rally there seems to be several options here.

1. Just use the OE clips
2. Use the clips but add bit of silicone or some other sealant to the back of the badge to add security (won't damage paint)
3. Use some sort of double sided tape on the back of the badge to fix it on.
4. Carefully thread the pin with a die so you can put a nut onto the pin. (general advice is that the metal is weak and be careful)

What's the general consensus here?

As I mentioned earlier the double sided automotive tape is your best option. This is how all vehicle badges are fitted these days. Using the tape means they will NOT fall off

I fixed mine on with splined washers from Halfords. there the old way that car badges used to be held on. .

A couple of years ago I fitted a pair of Simon`s badges with the said tape and they have stayed put on the panels with no problems
