If one day you will got a tyre puncture on the rear and you will alone the f***** rear mudguard will be bolt off when you will fit the rear wheel on the swing arm.

Looks better without for sure .. As a compromise i have seen someone use a kh250 rear guard on a 500 & that looks perfect , might even do that to mine one day

Always without, first thing i did back in the day on my new KH250 and new KH500, and still do today, look sleeker without.
