Post by H2R »

Anyone going? I plan to but I've never been before, is it any good and how does it compare with Stafford show?

Thanks

Stephen

I've decided to go, need to get out of the house!! It's a bit of a trek but I'm sure I'll spot one or two KTC members.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll submit my impressions upon return!

Went this morning, arrived about 10:40am, seemed quite busy to me, good footfall. No K triples or triple bits that I could see, but I saw an American Eagle A7 looking rough, seller wanted £2200 but was gone by the time I left at 1:30.

They had a good scooter turn out, not that it interested me, and most of the stall holders seemed busy. A lot smaller than Stafford, but not bad at all, IMO. Good atmosphere I thought, more relaxed than Stafford.

I'm with you Stephen, it was a good little break to go over there and see the bikes and stalls, VERY impressed with the turn out of scooters . . . No real interest in them other than the Lambretta Pick Up truck 8)

After a severe bout of Cabin Fever I decided to throw caution to the wind and give the show a go today. I was quite impressed with the turn out, certainly better than a few years ago. In fact I might give it a go next year and have a stall.
Not many Triple parts available, all I found was a KH250 twist grip. That said I did manage to tick off everything on my shopping list.
1. Duck tape
2. Stanley knife
3. Wire wheels for drilll
4.GT85
5.Rubber gloves
