"RB's" Eleventh . . . and FINAL Birthday bash!

Post by El Presidente »

As some of you are not on Facebook, and no doubt some more aren't even on the Internet! I thought I would throw a post out just in case anyone wants One last chance to come to Michigan and see the Worlds most comprehensive collection of unrestored Triples.

For my 50th birthday we organised a small get together on my back field, it has continued every Year with guys from all over the U.S. and Canada attending, 2017 saw the Tenth and final One . . . or so I thought, I will have One very final One (the house is more or less sold already) this Year, I am keeping my collection together until after the event but will be pre -selling all of them in the coming Months.

So, if you fancy a break in North Michigan (Traverse City area) then get in touch on here and i'll give you more info, the "event" is the weekend of the 18th August, however, many people turn up several days before that, so basically any time from the 12th to the 21st

Maybe we could double this up with your thread Sam. 'How I Lost My Partner'.

I floated this out at dinner tonight and was met with a surprising answer: 'Not if it clashes with Silverstone.'

I also broached the subject earlier but with most flight prices of nearly £2K each or I found £1600 all in but a 28hr flight (2 stops) it's unlikely..

There has to be a cheaper way... how do you regulars do this??

Just under a grand this year  About to book for mid-Ohio.

Yet Me and Julie flew to New York last year in May for £350 each

Other options are flying into Chicago (6 hrs away) or Sault St Marie in Canada (2 hours away) ((Via Toronto)) . . . At the moment we are securing as many "campers" (caravans) as we can for the weekend . . . Oh and it' often more than a weekend and looks like many people will be making a WEEK or more out of it -
