Can anyone ID this Bottom Yoke?

It is for 34mm stanchions, so if it's triple then S series or early 500, but a well respected rivet counter tells me the steering lock is incorrect for an early bike. It should be circular.
Centre to centre of stanchions is 170mm.
Any ideas?

With the shape of the barrel I am guessing post 72?

It's not early 500 as they didn't have the cover over the cylinder, it has the 74/75 steering lock barrel and as it is for a drum brake model I would say it is probably S1B or S1C.
I don't have one here to check but I'll have a look when I get home tonight or get your rivet counter to check his S1B

It has the holes in the right places for the cable guide and friction steering damper, but also has a hole to fit an hydraulic steering damper. I'm beginning to think someone may of welded on that steering lock holder???

Hmmm? I think Simon has hit the nail on the head as it certainly looks like a home made steering lock mount has been welded on?
look at the top - Far too thick & a too narrow diameter top hole for the Steering Lock Barrel?
No hole for the retaining Rivet either

The thing that is baffling me is if the steering lock tube is a later addition why is there not a cutout in the stem to take the steering lock if it's off a S1b/c

I don’t know anything much about those models but they have the same front brake as the early H1 so the forks and yolk widths are probably the same.
Don't scrap it, I will try it with some early forks I have in my next project.

search for part no 44037- in the excel file part#search tab.

44037-024 looks closest - but without seeing the detail of the lock and measurements it's difficult to tell.
