KH400 expansion pipes

Does anyone recognise these pipes? They came with the bike when I bought it 35 years ago as well as a spare set but I seem to be missing a down pipe. The bike had been raced (was there a production series for the KH?), I think the previous owner's name was Pink. The pipes are allegedly hand made and sound beautiful - very crisp! Although the bike's been off the road for about 25 or more years so the noise is a distant memory. Would they fit in an H1d I wonder? Answers on a postcard please...

I have some very similar looking pipes that came on an H1a about 30 years ago but I have had them on an H1e for years since.
They utilise the standard downpipes and from what I can see in the photos yours do too. Mine have different ends on though.
The cans on yours look modern for pipes that age.
No idea what make mine or yours are but mine have a lovely sound.

Yes there was a race series for KH400 's back in the day!
Before the Proddy series began with LC Yams etc!

You had to run standard pipes in the KH400 series
You were allowed to cut and reweld for more ground clearance hence the lack of standard pipes in the UK

Back in 1980 our Cranky made some expansion pipes using existing front pipes for an rd400. Looked great and bike flew.

Look a bit like 'Mick Grant' pipes, but I've only ever seen a set once on a bike (they sounded great) and a picture of some a few years later. KH250 in both cases.
