Fantastic night, a good few beers and great food with plenty laughter... (20 people attended)
Visited an Auction of allsorts of old bikes and bike remains.... mainly rusty junk
Then moved on to a private collection of classic bikes which was jaw dropping
Full report and some pictures later ---- although there will be no pics of the bike collection for obvious reasons

Can agree with Olde Coney about the evening do. Had to leave early today so didn't get to see the collection.
Also didn't get to say goodbye to a lot of our visitors. Sorry guys

Jaw dropping........... I was speechless for a few minutes while trying to take in the bike collection in.all it's glory. Hard to believe there are collections like this and more in this little part of the world. Don't think any photos would have done it justice.
Friday night meal was beautiful and the Cobra beer had the desired effect for a great night out. Looking forward to next year already.

Re: N.I CURRY NIGHT (part 2)
Curry night was superb and was a good chance for me as a late convert / newbie to meet a few people - some of which i had talked to by message before, recognized and / or talked to on Facebook, Stafford or met at some point over the years. Inevitably there turned out to be friends of friends there which is always good. Thank you all for making me so welcome in what was basically me meeting a lot of random strangers with a two stroke triple interest, which is not everyone's cup of tea, or Cobra in this case. (Two stroke quadruple in Roger's case obviously - PS it is really beautiful and I want one).
Saturday's collection viewing was a great day out a real an eye opener as to where some of the old bikes go - to a very very good home in this case.
To our "overseas" visitors, it was great that you made the effort and it was great to see you across in NI again. Hopefully you enjoyed your weekend as much as I did and if some of you you did manage the tourist trail Giant's Causeway trip that was talked about I hope you enjoyed it. I look forward crossing that bit of water water in the opposite direction next year as I am now semi retired and at last can enjoy some "me time" before it is too late and fully intend to.
Guys, thanks for the organizing as nothing organizes itself no matter how simple it seems. Keep up the good work. Top job.
Shaun.

Re: N.I CURRY NIGHT (part 2)
It was a pleasure to have organised it thanks go to Paul (fnuseless) for 'being there' as well.
I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend as much as I did, we were lucky to enjoy good weather so some sightseeing could take place.
The visit to our friends (VJMC) bike collection was exceptional and the bikes were just amazing
Thanks to all members who made the effort and the journey because it was you who made it all worth while
I'll happily organise another event next year.
Oh and we have an idea for a visit to another equally mind blowing collection of bikes
