Pickup design

Post by Collyolly »

Hi all, I am interested in the design of the H2 / H1d pickup, I have seen a thread somewhere ( US site I think ) where an enthusiast opened one up with a hammer - anyone able to direct me to it as I cannot find it again.
Has anyone got a failed pickup they would be willing to part with to enable me to 'look inside' ( you won't get it back !) as I am keen to see if this device could be replicated. I have 2 units on my stator that read 165 ohm but have significant damage.
Many thanks

Ironically, I have a couple of duff pick ups that I am going to whack with a hammer.

Yours, if Rich is unable to find.
