Looking at the adverts of the time, very little, it seems!! unfortunately they were/still are all blokes at Wakefield Kawasaki! :D

For the sales people I just remeber shirts, jackets and ties at Banbury Kawasaki and Hartford Motorcycles. Also at Glandfield Baldet in Northampton Neil Young was also a 'shirt and tie' sales manager. He went on to set up Neil Young Motorcycles before recently selling out to one of the big chains.

All the dealerships around here wore the same regalia, typical of the middle managements era of the time. The workshop was overalls.

Those manning the clothing, parts and accessories would have dressed down a little.

Remember young girl with big breasts! Not sure what she wore (very little) but kept the sales up at our local dealership for spares!!

the owner of the first dealership in Blackpool wore a wheel chair, :shock:
bike crash too,
you think that would have put the punters off !!,
no way he made a packet in the early - mid 70's,
dont remember them wearing uniforms though,

jumped on the back of a Z1 for test run, yellow and green, 135, down main road, fastest we'ed ever been, 8)

There was a guy in the IOM who looked like he rode extremely well with one arm.

I didn't quite get it until I saw hime ride off on his bike. I wanted to take my hat off to him!

he is one of my local mates pete
he took a bit of time out a couple of years ago and rode from the bottom of south america to the top of alaska!!

I have a lot of respect for people with the determination to go on doing what they enjoy doing regardless of the knock backs.
