The paddock in the centre of the track usually opens around 2pm on the Friday and a group of us arrive then and get a pitch large enough for our group.
You are welcome to join us.
We can normally get our road and race bikes scrutineered from around 4 pm on the Friday to avoid the queue on Saturday.
Only those with race bike entries can park in the paddock, those who only have road bike entries park on the outside but they cab freely walk across the bridge into the paddock without any special pass to look at the bikes in there.
If you are arriving on the Saturday you will need to be early as the only access to the paddock is across the track which normally closes at 8am.

I was hoping to camp with other KTC members near our stand but having never been before don’t know how it works.
I still want to go but need help, I will be going down on Friday afternoon.

Speaking to others at the Peak Rally a fortnight ago, yes 1-2 are dropping out, but there should still be a reasonable group that will be going. Like you I am planning to get down there Friday afternoon in time to get the scrutineering done ahead of Saturday. But will also be leaving late Saturday after all the sessions.

But like others I don't know where the club stand is, or parking area etc. And on Saturday & Sunday access across the track for vehicles or bikes is severely restricted?

The club stand will be on the Avenue of Clubs.
I will be arriving Friday afternoon to set up the club stand.

I doubt if I will be able to get on the track as I can't get my bike to start and run...following my ignition/electrickery woes at the Peak rally.

I was told there may be space behind the club stand for us to camp - but I don't necessarily believe this.

I understand the race paddock is inside the track - so access is restricted to the race paddock.

Anyone from the greater Bolton area going in a car/van? I've got a couple of fuel tanks ready for me up there and I'm hoping someone could bring them down for me, save me a long drive. Happy to contribute to travel costs! Got an unused Kawa T shirt free to anyone that can help!

Secondly, I've got a couple of spare sets of Kawa coloured leathers I can bring along for anyone that needs them. One fits me (I'm 5'10"" tall with a 42-44 chest) and the other is vintage 70s Frank Thomas with Kawa logo, suits someone much smaller than me, perhaps a 38 chest?

Oh, and I plan to arrive on the Friday p.m.
