Finally, after ( small cough ) 2years and 9 months this barn find breaths again,is there a feeling like it when this collection of metal parts splutters into life
I can,t believe how long its taken
It was back in 2016 Oct when I picked up this very sad example up and this engine has fought me all the way ( wrecked crank, seized barrels,broken studs,etc ) ,also the ignition laughed at my attempts to raise a spark ,in the end I stuck on the points system from an old KH250 engine Ive had laying around for 35 years,glad I kept it
I,ll probably try the Accent system upgrade when I,ve sorted it in the future .Anyway it was great to fill the garden with much smoke and that noise ( only have one baffle so far
),loads more to do of course and whoever said it looked like a money pit when I first posted it..........they were damn right
