15,000 is about two thirds of the 72 H2, and approaching a third of all 750's. Did you mean 1,500 maybe as there were a few anomalies on the very first ones - I think described in a club mag a while ago.
Anyway Mark, what are you wondering about - give us a clue?

I am looking to find out how far along the production line did they add the second bar at the front of the frame , also the used a lot of S2 parts , such as main foot rests , rear indicator brackets , tail section . and I was wondering when they started using H2 parts.
I have seen recently pictures of 2 bikes in the mid 09000 range with the single bar and some S2 parts , hence asking about the first 15000 bikes just to find the approx. change over point Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Hiya Mark

I have one in the 5000’s with one cross bar.

I was once told the two bar version came in around 6000, but can’t remember who by!

This might be interesting too.

I thought they only used a few S2 parts on the pre-production bikes put together for the brochure pictures

Would someone modify the frame to fit the extra bar give it extra strength? My one is just over 5.5 numbers and with a two bar frame is this correct?

Someone has modified my early frame and fitted the plates under the tank near the headstock

I've owned 272 H2's under frame number 15,000 in the last 40 Years  . . . . I just wish I had kept better records of their anomalies
