I've got a Pantone book from my print buying days, but not the bikes to colour match up against I'm afraid.

To specify what colours to get some printed material done in I would hazard an educated guess at Neil.

I have just had some British rims painted in the centre.
I had the RAL code number for the paint to ensure a match - WRONG

The RAL 4004 that the hubs were painted in was a different RAL 4004 that the rim painter got.

You may have to get colour swatches from the company making the badges etc that are pretty damned close Mark. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Pantone is used by designers and printers.

It's no good for talking about paint unfortunately.

It's not as good as a proper Pantone swatch set due to screen colour limitations, but a handy guide

pantone is a colour reference, it is for an ink printed onto a white background, it is an approximation when it comes to paintes or lacquers, although many designers dont fully appreciate that, start adding transparent colours and metallics and it sioon fucks everything up.
