Parking was sticky but not too bad. Worst thing was the queues.....AGAIN. Back to the A51 on the Uttoxeter side and no doubt worse from Stafford direction. Only one car park open so single file access from each direction at a snails pace. Queue to the ticket booths was at least 300m long and the same again in the pre-paid line. The "early bird" 9am entry came and went and around 9.20 just two people started checking tickets using scanners that didn't work half the time.
Not good enough I'm afraid !

I went on Sunday, got there at 0845, sat in the car until 0920 then walked straight in no problems at all.

From Nicks conception of an idea, to James building of it ,what an effort by the club.
James in particular is the stand out person in this, because with out the long hours he put in at very short notice, this simply would not have happened.
The good news is it aint all over yet!
Nick has another idea for next year!!

A very minor detail James. Don't worry, it can be developed further for the H2 Anniversary display in 2022

Does that mean Im going to have to finish the H2R

I though the H2 ( and the S2 for that matter) was launched in 1971? .................so actually only two years Malc !

I did think that too Craig but were the H2s just manufactured in 1971 then sold in 72 ESPECIALLY in the UK?
I doubt that any 71 H2 was sold in the UK in 1971 so back to three years to do the H2R

In France S2 june 1971 (seen a S2 with finn numbers plate on Margate UK on july 1971, I still remember it nearly 50 years after), H2 february 1972 the first batch coming by plane to be ready for the first production race on 750 class.
The result was eleven first bikes were H2, second race all the racers or nearly were on H2
