Paint choice?
72 H2 US import nearing completion originally gold but really like the white S1 colours! Would that be a mistake on the H2?...Any thoughts on this?

It would certainly affect the value as most people like these bikes standard but it’s your bike, do what makes you happy.

And the white S1 colours are amongst the best you can see on a triple IMHO.

Re: Paint choice?
There was an H2 in the White colours up for sale a couple of months ago (fleabay) and it seemed to struggle to sell, it's now back on fleabay at what could be a dealer and at a higher price !
If it's for your enjoyment then it's for 'your eyes only', but if your concerned about resale value stick to a standard colour scheme.
Mine by the way is Black with green decals and looks perfect.

Also, seem to remember the previous owner of the White H2 even offered to get the colour changed back if it would help the sale.
The bike is up for sale at a good few Grand below any other H2 and the spec looks good, be interesting to see how it fares.

I like to see various colours on triples. Some look so good they could have been an option. But standard always attracts the best price!

Re: Paint choice?
If you love the bike to ride, then you paint it whatever colour you like. If it's an investment then standard colours are the way to go. We have bikes from all camps here. I have a H2b in KH250 clothing myself.
And and S1c in Halibut Blue just to be normal sometimes..(not an investment).

Then have it repainted in standard colours when you sell it.
