Front forks

Post by Big Cup »

Front forks have also decided to leak oil!
Legs are pitted so could do with being replaced or rechromed.
Which is the way to go for these?

Is there anyone that renovates them? you give them your old pitted ones ones and they give you a nice new set oh and you have to give them money as well :D

Regards

you could always get a new pair of legs and seals from Mid Atlantic cycle in the U.S, they would be a good price

I bought a new pair for a late model H1 from Dave Marsden (Z-power) a couple of years ago. £150 -10% club discount of course :D

I used Philpots and was happy with the service. Rick was doing a similar exchange service, but cheaper than Philpots (and buying new). Can't comment on fitforx.

I agree ! Jess is a top bloke but I think you will find the earlier stanchions to be dearer than late ones......also shipping is gonna be a killer. You would not tell new from recon thats why I used Philpots!!
