kh400 regulator wiring

Hi Guys, got a question I hope someone can answer for me. I am rebuilding my KH400 with the Kawasaki cdi system on it, the ac generator on this model has 2 yellow wires coming from it another plug for the rectifier and a 6 wire connector plug for the CDI.
So the 6 pin connector plug fits onto my CDI unit all ok, the rectifier connects up to the plug also with the correct coloured wires but the plug on the wiring loom has a yellow and black wire a yellow wire and a brown wire in a male connector while the regulator has white, yellow and pink wires in a male connector block with a brown with a bullet connector and a yellow and black with an eye connector on it, on the earlier model wire diagram it shows these coloured wires but has a 3rd wire coming out of the generator.
can anyone tell me how and what wires I connect to the regulator

Sounds like you have the wrong Rectifier, those are the wiring colours for a Points version Rectifier.
