Re: October Stafford
Yes the Stafford Show is hoped to be on, so long as the R number in the area remains low enough and there are no local lockdowns.
I spoke to the organisers.
There will be no tickets available on the gate.
Advanced entry only.
They may be timed tickets so not everyone turns up at once or there will be queuing in place to spread out entry.
One way systems will be in place for foot traffic around the site.
Reduced numbers of tickets will be issued.
Aisles will be widened.
Multiple hand sanitisation stations will be available.
The Committee had a discussion and decided that we would not have a Club stand this year but plan to return next year.

Re: October Stafford
I wont be going as Julie my wife has MS.
We have been so careful up to now that I wouldnt jeopardise it to go to a show.
I have been told the VJMC is not doing it either.

Re: October Stafford
I think that it is going to be very difficult for the organisers to control this, and with local spikes popping up it is impossible to plan anything with any certainty. Sad decision, but the right one for the club.

Re: October Stafford
The October Show has now been cancelled. Info from Mortons:
Due to the worsening situation and rising infection rate of Covid-19, we have very sadly taken the decision to cancel the Carole Nash Classic Motorcycle Mechanics show, planned for October 10-11 at Stafford County Showground.
This long-established event has always been a firm favourite with motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Europe, and with the increase of cases worldwide, we feel this is the safest thing to do, for the well-being of visitors and traders.
All ticket bookings will be rolled over to our April 24 - 25 show, and we will be sending new tickets out in March for this event. However, if you are unable to attend please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we will give you a full refund
