Brexit Strikes

Post by doodah »

Ordered a few screws and bolts from CMSNL in Holland they shipped it on Monday, today I get a UPS Exception email -

The status of your parcel has changed.

Exception Reason: A required security check has delayed delivery.
Exception Resolution: The package will be returned to the sender.

- And it was sent back to them.

As Droopy says "That makes me mad" :smt013 :smt013

I've not tried ordering direct before - I'll give them a go next time I need something.
They did have 3 out of the 4 items I wanted, one being NLA.
Gotta wait for CMSNL now to see if I will get a refund or whether they will re-send.

So I raised a support ticket and received this response:

Unfortunately, the Brexit and UPS do not collaborate with the shipments we send out to our customers as well as we expected.
We have received your package back at our warehouse.
We will re-send the package to you asap.
As we are working hard on a solution, the shipping and delivery might take a bit longer than you are used to from us.

I guess it's going to be a similar story for any other members ordering parts from Europe.
