Yes and a surprise hit for the BBC. Good antidote to the throwaway culture :D
Something must have gone wrong for this to be on the BBC because the channel is a load of sh-t and it`s criminal that we have to pay for a TV license, legalised theft.
IMHO the BBC produces some amazing wildlife programs, spring/summer/autumn/winter watch ( live camera feeds available 12 hrs a day while the shows are running.
Great drama, ( currently binge watching Line Of Duty, the whole 5 series before the new one starts)
Death In Paradise, is s light hearted police series that's great escapism, Country file, Click, Blue Planet, The Travel Show. Are shows we regularly watch
I would highly recommend race across the world, if you haven't watched it, 5 teams set off from an unknown destination and have to travel there by land for the cost of the air fare with just a map.
I also have Sky and Amazon prime, SKY has too many adverts for a subscription service, ITV has some great programs as does Channel 5 and Channel 4
If we all liked the same things life would be e pretty dull Thumbs Up

Totally agree Gary, as Chris Packham constantly reminds us, " that's why you pay your license fee for" and Line of Duty, best cop drama since Hill St Blues.

Agreed Gary, there are some great programmes on T.V mind you there is some utter shite too

I read Henry Cole's book which after it finished ranting on about his drug 'habits' it was actually quite interesting, to the point where my opinion of him improved somewhat

Just started reading it and to be fair to him he`s being very open about his early lonely life and drug period. So far I`m enjoying it.

I think Henry Cole does a good job and, as already said, it's the only motorcycling offering on 100+ ( mostly shite) TV channels. To his credit he makes it watchable not only to motorcycling die hards but also the general public. Thumbs Up
As for the BBC..... if they got rid of the gloom and doom newscasters and all the overpaid executives and ex footballers it could be a great organisation............some of the wildlife programmes are phenomenal.

I like old Henry, his laid back style works for me.. He's back on at the moment but I think they are all repeats. I'll watch em again no problem..

And Repair shop is right up my street.. I refer to it as 'that program where they make people cry.. '

Have almost been there myself sometimes when watching..
