I only just noticed that there was a massive price hike (over 20%) between 1976 and 1977 and wondered why? Inflation was around 5-6% at that time, so possibly exchange rates?

or maybe Kawasaki were just having to pay for setting up all those Kawasaki Centres :lol:

Nearly £1200 for that POS Z750 twin.....got my GS750 for £1285 on the road....Black and triple discs.....only a dozen in the country....went to Brands Hatch a few weeks later on it on it......FUKIN everywhere.......never trust a sales person... :roll:

Sorry for late reply Malc.....Nik pulled me on it :D Yeah still got the GS.....out to 920cc now with smoothbores and Yoshi cams....14k on the clock...
