Re: NW Rally 27-28 August 2021
Sorry to say I am not able to make this years Rally.
A relative died suddenly during lockdown and we were not able to attend the funeral. They are now have a belated wake next Saturday and we will be attending.
I was looking forward to the rally, so can I say to all the organisers and attendees to have a great time.

You would hope so, but how do you enforce it?Olde Coney wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 9:38 am Are all those planning to attend the rally required to be covid 19 vaccinated![]()

Re: NW Rally 27-28 August 2021
Hi Everyone
I’ve just joined this illustrious club after just purchased an H2C .
I live in Fleetwood and have a small collection of bikes a d being retired now get to enjoy endless hours fettling and enjoying everything about bikes .
I have a long history with Kawasaki having sold them new in the late 70s and pretty much always had bikes since .
I hope to be able to meet you all that come to Fleetwood this weekend and gain some advice and tips .
Also my wife has Dolly’s kiosks at the fleetwood boating lake where you can enjoy all sorts of local ice creams and the usual breakfasts and burgers etc , she ( Gill ) is also a biker and would welcome you all if you fancy a visit and a chat , there’s plenty of parking and you might even try the local pastime of “ crabbing “ , whereby you sit round the lake in the sun !!
I’m sure she’ll work out discounts for any club members and would welcome you all .
It is going to be busy this weekend, so please be patient if ordering food etc as it’s not McDonald’s
but food and especially milk shakes are worth the wait .
I’m going to put a couple of my bikes on show at the front , so please come along and meet Mike n Gill and the family.

Thanks Tony,
Only if you were thinking of Lytham this year, it will be busy as Tom Jones is doing a concert that night. Wife's already rifling through her knicker draw.

Re: NW Rally 27-28 August 2021
There are plenty in Blackpool, look for North Shore , Bispham & Cleveleys, all just 3 or 4 miles down the road.
There is also a Premier Inn "The Red Lion" on Devonshire Road in Bispham.

Well 320 miles, fuel stops every 50 miles, 8 hours in the saddle. I finally made it
On the plus side the new liner is nearly run in
Good catch up with old friend's and meet some new ones. Looking forward to the ride out tomorrow and a few sherberts tomorrow night

Re: NW Rally 27-28 August 2021
What a great Rally after all this time.
I rode down (not on a Triple) and back again , which was a 200 mile round trip --- worth every mile it was too
Great weather, the usual excellent venue, coupled with first class organisation by the 'team' well done to all, The 'Ride out' got back at about 3.00 pm and I understand that everyone had a great time
it was lovely to meet up again with so many of my old pals and enjoy their company after such a long time, unfortunately some of us haven't enjoyed the best health recently but it was uplifting to see everyone again
Thanks again to the team .... WELL DONE
