Re: Old Rallys
Moor farm was before my time.
Did Basford miners from 1989 to the last one in 1995.
Think we moved to Amber valley then.

It was the miners club when I started going and then moved to the rugby club.
I can't remember when we started but I have a trophy from 1988!

Re: Old Rallys
Maybe did 2 at miners
I do remember us cutting down a massive tree for the bonfire as it would be felled to make way for a new housing development.
A week later in the local rag was a piece saying they where keeping the treees

Re: Old Rallys
I was at Moor Farm for the first and think the rally really came into its own at the Miners.
One comment I always remember hearing at the Miners was from a Welsh bloke with an H1B. I said "Great venue, isn't it?" and he replied (and imagine it in a Welsh accent) "Oh it's OK, but there's nowhere to have a shit"...
Where was Rick's Bingo - at that one-off pub venue?

I won a chain lube at one bingo. It made great napalm that evening! Those were the days when we were trusted to play with fire
