Noisy clutch!
As title says its noisy,pull lever in goes quite,let it out sounds like a bag of spanners ,but gears work fine,going to have a look soon,best ideas anybody as to cause..cheers

Hi.
Is a much discussed event on here and no doubt a full and comprehensive answer will be forthcoming.
For my penneth worth, mine was noisy too. Eventually I got round to removing the cover and discovered the bearings were worn, the rubbers in tbe housing had age hardened and there was sufficent play (and swarf) for it to start machining the inside of the cover.

I had similar on mine but i simply locked the two parts of the clutch together by compressing the rivets. This was a short term fix and 20 years later i havent got round to getting it sorted. I doubt i will as it seems fine. (discuss!)
