German rally first report: french point of view

Post by husson73 »

Firstly, at my knowledge all the UK team is in perfect condition neither Scouse or Ray or Greg had troubles, this changes from the last years, just a funny trouble but I will let Scouse reports it, after all it was him the heroe... :smt030 :smt081 :smt120 :smt116 :smt077
Happily cause a rally without trouble, is like a haggish without a scot :smt080 :smt118 Johan, a dutch guy has seized his H2B, don't worry new wisecos, sandpaper and he started this morning on a perfect bike with the help of Leo, of course we spend all the saturday night under the tent to look at Leo rebuilding the engine :smt051 :smt030 :smt116
Nice guys and bikes but stangely mostly spoke german :smt098
nice place under some wooden hills with a kind of british weather on saturday :smt088 :smt086 :smt085 but at the end not that's bad.
Great atmosphere, some beers,
the drag track
Scouse, Ray Greg, Gotz, Leo, Leon, Ralf, Thomas
an other fine rally

Nice pics. Nice to have met you.

sat on the ferry, waiting to dock in Hull, we made it to the port 2hrs before we where due to sail, it was nice to be early for a change!!
only 1 minor incident, as I passed through check in I found I had no drive!
we pulled the sproket cover of to find the sproket nut was in the casing but no lock washer.
we had the tools to fix it, so it will be a nervous 100 mile ride to work & home.
oh btw I got 10.63 on the strip, on a proper street bike & rode home ;-)

Cant' believe that Leo... spends his time at a Rally mending someone else's bike until all hours, mucky, greasy, oily and still has a fookin smile on his face.

Mind you that could be something to do with his drink on the table behind?

Pity about the weather, but looks like everyone enjoyed it.
