I have put my entry in for two sessions. I know that Simon Lister and James have also booked two sessions.
The sessions initially look expensive, but bear in mind that spectator weekend passes are £46 each and you get TWO included if you book a track session.
If you are booking more than one session then it makes sense to join the VMCC, which costs £40.

1 Session - £60 (VMCC members) or £90 (non-members)
2 Sessions - £96 (VMCC members) or £135 (non-members)
3 Sessions - £132 (VMCC members) or £180 (non-members)
4 Sessions - £170 (VMCC members) or £220 (non-members)

Probably touch and go with Higgspeeds. I have them on mine, so going to look at ways of quietening them down.

I'm not sure how you can quieten them, mine have (pro) sound deadening wadding wrapped round the baffles and they're still very zingy... :smt102

The thing with sound is it will take the path of least resistance, so if the baffle tubes are completely open then wrapping them has little effect. The porous insulation only absorbs some high frequency sound. I also think that a lot of people wrap them too tight, which certainly doesn't help.

I think that the only way you can make a noticeable difference is by modifying the end of the baffle, so it may involve some small performance loss.
See here for some ideas http://kawi2strokes.com/forum/viewtopic ... 13#p142013

I intend to do some comparative sounds figures with a phone sound meter app. It may not be very accurate but at least it will demonstrate the differences.

Cheers bud, I've heard that the apps are sometimes restricted by the preset max microphone levels on phones, which on some is 96db. Thumbs Up

I did the same FOTB in 2019 on my H2B, and to be honest don’t recall any sight of anyone checking? :smt102 ;)

I think you are right Steve, I will try to get hold of a proper sound meter when I test them.

From what I hear, they have tightened up since then due to neighbours complaints.

You can add me to the list, assuming there's still some availability. It doesn't look like we'll get our own track session with just a handful of runners

Are you booking some track sessions Steve? The prices aren't that bad when you realise they include two weekend passes.
