Greetings,
I am new to the club with my 1975 UK spec S3A back on the road for the first time since 1981. Its quite a thing. Not surprisingly the wear (stretch on front arm pivot, wear on linkage) on the original gear linkage is causing some gear change problems. Would anyone know of a specific arm & balljoint link which i could use to replace the original arm with?
Thanks so much
Julius

Hi Julius, if you want to retain an original look, then you can buy oversize stainless pins and drill out the holes which become oval over time.

If you want a really tight "slop free" gear linkage and are not interested in originality, I have fitted rose or ball joint ends in the past. They are used for tie rods on Go Karts, so if you type Go Kart linkage on Amazon or eBay they will pop up at a good price.

I used rose joints, effective but not the prettiest.
