Brakes

Hi All,
The front brake on my H1E is about as good as putting your feet on the ground.
It works but it could do with being a lot better
They are original pads that come with the bike and are well within wear limit.
My question is if i fit new pads will the brakes be better?
Can i fit differant pads that will improve the braking

I have ridden Andy Pretty's KH500 and they are so much better than any h1 series disc i have ever used.

Yep, they are FAR superior to the Earlier H1 brakes - I could squeal my front tyre on a KH500 at 50mph It's all in the design, the earlier H1 (& H2) caliper will only grab the disc so much before the caliper starts to do the splits The KH500 item, although still poxy, is FAR more rigid.
