It's a well attended Rally with typical French Hospitality (lots of eating ). Late in the year so not boiling hot and lovely Alsatian architecture and Countryside.
Within striking distance of Liechenstien, Switzerland, Germany and Luxembourg as part of a larger holiday after the UK Southern Rally.

I'm aiming for it, will see how retirement finances pan out...

Excepted in the old times you got a passeport easily and faster in France and didn't need months, now it's different as all must be done by internet: boo to France

The rally stands each year at the end of september, some years last week end , some years like this year the week end before the last week end of september, always on the same place for the meeting in Wahlbach. The hotel in Le Soleil is comfortable and the food is very good. There is also a kind of bed and breakfest close around 100 meters which is cheaper.
the runout is in Germany Blackforest on saturday and sunday on small curvy roads on the mountain. Some german K triple guys are here too.
