Z-Power - Amazing Service

Post by Antarctic Boy »

Just to say I ordered 3 coils for my KH500 circa 2:30pm yesterday 31st October and they arrived today 1pm 1st November and I live in the middle of nowhere East Anglia
10 out of 10 for such service - this club and the surrounding services/suppliers are just the best.

This is all part of trying to solve my mid range bogging/misfiring KH500 - I'll write and article for the mag once/if I solve it, carbs been stripped (1 float height wrong), the stator brushes pretty much fell off so all five replaced (stupid money for NOS) - a bit better but not right. Changing the coils now as they are the original ones and I've ordered new plug caps and in the process of getting NOS pick ups (stupid money also). Air filter clean, baffles clean, plugs new - the motor rebuild a few years ago was easier and at this rate cheaper!

The bike looks lovely though!

Yeah Z power are on the ball.....I ordered a few bits last month and the rectifier rubber protector was not right. Phil checked the bin and got back to me saying it was wrong item and he would send one out when they had new stock....got it a week later......did you get club discount mate ??? :D :D

Z-Power and Kawa Triple Parts are my go to. Thumbs up from me for them both.

Couldn't agree more, ordered 3 plug caps from Kawa Triple Parts earlier this week and Tony called to ask whether I wanted red or black - fab attention to detail!

I feel your just throwing good money after bad, guessing as to what's wrong is an expensive way to go about things, you would have been better getting the bike on a Dyno and get the issue properly diagnosed.
However if your bike isn't standard then the hole in the midrange is a common issue on later 500s, float height is a waste of time, that's why Kawasaki give fuel hight , not float height
