G'day Chaps,
I'm about to list an H1-D Owner's Manual on eBay, but wondering if there's a simple way to ID a repro version from a genuine one.
I believe the one I have is genuine, but it is in mint condition (which you might expect a genuine one not to be after all these years).
I think it's genuine because: a) I have a -B, and therefore no reason to buy a -D unless it was genuine and I was in the right place at the right time; b) I've had it a long, long time, and used to work in spares for a Kawasaki dealer (and used to spend the quiet time in the shop trawling through the parts price book for rare'ish part numbrs to look up)
Maybe the repro's are just so good, it's too hard to tell!
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
If anyone wants a H1-D handbook, make me a reasonable offer, and we might be able to do a deal off-eBay. Bear in mind that it's in Australia.
Cheers,
Jeff (DownUnder)

I'm sure if you could compare them side by side there'd be obvious differences in the binding or paper weight etc. Are they stapled?

Thanks, I only have the one, which is stapled.Mitsui Spy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 2:57 pm I'm sure if you could compare them side by side there'd be obvious differences in the binding or paper weight etc. Are they stapled?
Further to Rick’s comment, the photo’s are quite clear, and don’t appear to have been copied from originals.
Cheers.
