Thank you but I think they are for KH models not the S series

Re: S3a left handlebar switchgear
The picture shows US spec switches for the S3/S3a. The tell-tales are the lack of pass light switch combined with horn switch and there being no position (PO) light. They can be modified to Euro spec. I'll photograph my S3a lh switch, but it looks the same, other than the pass/horn switch. The S3/S3a lh switch is the same as the KH250/400 lh switch.

I have taken a photograph, but now need to remember how to reduce it to a size I can post on here!

Re: S3a left handlebar switchgear
Whilst I ponder file resizing, the only other detail about the lh switch on the S3, S3a and KH250/400 is that early ones had a more rounded pass/horn switch; later ones had a horn switch which was circular but with a flat top and bottom. Pictures would help, but.......!

Re: S3a left handlebar switchgear
I managed to reduce the filesize via WhatsApp! I should mention that certain US and/or Canadian models had a completely different-looking set of switchgear. I don't have any, but there should be images somewhere.

Found an image of the other type of switchgear. Note no pass switch, same as the later type used on US and Canadian models. This image is from the S1-B/S3 Assembly and Preparation Manual.

And here's the matching rh switch. I should add that the manual is based mostly on the S1-B, hence the lack of master cylinder on the right handlebar.

Re: S3a left handlebar switchgear
Just to add to the confusion, I've dug out a picture from a KH400 A3 owner's manual showing the US spec and early UK spec lefthand switch, the UK one showing the different shape horn/pass switch. I believe this to be either an early version, or one of two versions fitted. It is possible that the later type (as shown in the picture of my S3a switch above) was introduced on the KH250 B3 and KH400 A5 (not sold in the UK); I base this on information given to me by someone who observed both bikes back in the day. However, earlier bikes, including S3a etc. may have needed a replacement switch or complete switchgear at some time (the horn spring broke on my KH250 back in the day), in which case, a new item would have the later round horn switch with the flats top and bottom.
Few will know or care about the difference, so fit what you can get!

Re: S3a left handlebar switchgear
I'm pretty sure due to road laws all post 72 triples have a pass switch , where as all US spec don't.
Hence the switch on the US is flat
Hence the switch on the US is flat
