Substandard Engineering

Post by scouse »

Took me Barrels to a local engineering shop( Lockside Engineering Castleford)for boring
I got a call to say they were ready
I was shocked when I got home to find 2 pistons not even out of the packaging
I'm unsure what my next move is

That’s not good
The only pistons I’ve come across where the sizes are all consistent were Wossners. Even then, the chap who bored my cylinders still measured them- just to be sure
I’d phone them back and get them to check the diameters of the other two versus the bores

Looks like they'assumed all 3 pistons are exactly the same size
