First ride in five decades.

I took the H2 for a shakedown ride today. This thing really took some reawakening but it’s up and running now.
I didn’t want to restore it but I’ve had to spend a bit.
New tyres, tubes and tape.
Carb overhaul kits.
Fuel cock.
Air filter and plugs.
Ignition pick up.
One downpipe.
Clutch cable.
Speedo cable.
Intake snorkel.
Not bad really.
I’ve changed the fluids too. I’ll change the brake hoses. But it runs well. Maybe a little rumbley at tick over but maybe they just are? Apart from hunting a bit at fixed revs it’s running well and always starts 3rd kick from cold, first when warm.

Best I have at the moment. It’s a bit tatty and some parts were taken or swapped over the years but it’s mostly original. Very low miles and matching numbers.
