Excellent vid Tony,, that sums up the day, and yes Gra thats Coniston Water, I was towards the back and the look on the faces of those folk at the road side was brilliant, a mixture of shock and disbelief I was pissing meself....we must do it again... good call Simon. . ALL INVITED

great vid we shall have to do it again next time we should try the west coast and cut across if we get any good weather later you could meet at my house tea and bacon butties to start and then head up the coast if your up for it

Thats a good idea Keith, could go Broughton in Furness to Ravensglass, stop for lunch at the railway cafe then Hardknott pass. Some good roads and a bit less traffic.

We do that area on the trail bikes but might be a struggle on the triples over Corney Fell!

must say tho' that the film was good and I noticed that the camera was attached to the left side handlebar..great result..better than some taken from a drag bike I saw recently

It was just my Sony digital still camera on a bodged bracket bolted to the handlebars. I did think that the vibration might kill it, but it was OK until you got to silly speeds.

Next time I will have to remember to tape over the mike, once above walking pace the wind noise is bad, hence the soundtrack instead of that lovely triple howl.
