KH500 Production Racer

[Triple Parts]

Stumbled across this pic online and just wondered what the story was? It looks fresh out of the showroom, so I guess 1976.

Anyone know anything about it? Did any brave soul on here race it?

It belonged to Kevin Pike who bought it brand new and raced it along side his RD350. His RD350 had race tank and seat/full fairing and was in Yamaha Canada colours.
He also raced sidecars from the early 1970s
I contacted him in August and asked would he write about his experiences for the club magazine?
He said he would but I've had nothing since.
I will try again but he is not in the greatest of health........
