Not what I expected on my ride home

Post by scouse »

I came around a corner and hit some leaves
The front end washed out and well here's the result

Gutted is an understatement
I'm OK by the way

Good to hear that you are ok Gary. Can the bike still run?
There is no such thing as bad drink, just some better than others.

Not the news we want to hear
As long as you are ok is the main thing as the bike is repairable

Leaves are lethal when wet. All looks repairable, glad you are not needing repairs. Us older folk don't bounce like we used to.

Got Gary and bike home last night, Jo wasn't happy so he might have had a good tongue lashing.

I texted him later to check that she hadn't strung him up by the nadgers..

Bloody hell Gary, thatโ€™s not good! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Glad youโ€™re okay, and hope your ears arenโ€™t suffering too much? ๐Ÿ˜‰

It's the inner part of my thigh on my right leg
My jeans have a small pocket for some armour for the pelvis/hip, the day before I looked at them and thought maybe I should get some armour for them?
BTW there's hardly a mark on the jeans or my armoured shirt

Yeah, odd things happen when you have a get off. I bet that's a bit tender!

I mostly use armoured jeans now,RST being my usual. Aside from the protection,I like that they keep the chill off my old knees on a cold day.
