Simons Site address
As the heading says, I am looking for the web address of Simon's site. I know nobody really uses it but I like to have it book marked to stick my head in now and again. My laptop has had a hissy fit and deleted all my book marks.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Simons Site address
I appreciate that I have missed a great deal since I have been off here but I`m a little confused now, doesn`t take much nowadays
as I thought Simon`s site had closed down and wasn`t now accessible ?
I have just followed the link and found it still there and was also able to log in and have a browse and its all there old posts and pictures and everything and Lizzy has also posted on her restoration thread during January this year.
Why did we stop using the site ? as I found it my natural home with a smaller Triple, even though I used the club site too.
Was it that Simon retired from Kawa Triple Parts passing the baton onto Tony ?

Nothing to do with me Pete. It was just a case that people slowly lost interest and it died. The rise of Facebook groups was probably a big factor.
Which is why I keep pushing this Forum as much as I can, use it or lose it!

Re: Simons Site address
Like many forums due to the rise in social media it simply died.
I did think about closing it down, but it would be a shame to lose all the information posted over the years. So I decided to let it is sit there as part of Kawasaki Triple history

Hi Tony I wasn`t suggesting in anyway at all in my post that the forum died when Simon retired it was just a poor choice of words on my part.Triple Parts wrote: βSat Feb 28, 2026 9:12 am

I can understand how Facebook and social media have changed the landscape of forums which is a shame and I agree that if we don`t use the Forum it could be lost.
On a happier note the parts that I ordered off you are due for delivery at lunchtime today, which is a fantastic service by Kawa Triple Parts. Thanks

Re: Simons Site address
Hi Simon and I can see how social media has affected so many forums.
I, for one, really appreciate that you didn`t close it down and as you say it would have been such a pity to have lost all that information posted over the years.
