Higgspeed

Post by Mick Hunt »

Finally got my pension sorted out yesterday which meant I could Finally order a set of expansions for my S3A . So I go to the Higgspeed website to order a set of regular upswept but I was having difficulty paying. I sent an email to them at 10 o clock last night hoping to hear back today but to my surprise I got a reply by 10.15 from David who managed to get it all sorted. Received my invoice this morning. Now it's all paid I've just got to be patient and wait for them to arrive. This does mean it will give me time to hopefully get the rest of the bike together ready for the pipes. I can't wait I'm like a kid waiting for Father christmas to bring his presents. Thank you David for such a great service would recommend you to anyone looking for a set of expansions Thumbs Up

Hi Mick, out of curiosity did Dave give you a lead time from the pipes.

Yes about the 19th of next month but the website says 6-8weeks but my bikes still a bare frame waiting for blasting so if it takes a bit longer it won't matter. But even if the bikes not ready I can still sit and drool over them :smt007

Thought I'd be telling everyone how great my higgspeed exhausts are but instead I'm going to moan about DHL. They sent me an email Thursday saying my parcel would arrive between 12.51 and 13.51 on Friday so I sat waiting from midday. The slot for the delivery time came and went. At about 4 o clock they said they were running late. At 7 o clock they sent me an email saying they had tried to deliver my parcel at 12.22 but could not gain access to the property. I had been sitting in my front room with full view of the gate and road I never saw them . Now because it's bank holiday weekend I've got to wait until Tuesday :smt010

Yes, I guess literacy is not a pay-scale requirement for couriers! Very often they get very confused between my house and next door - that's if packages are even delivered to either, but put in other random locations that apparently look good enough! :x :?

I've had to start adding the words "NOT Featherstone WF7" to my address on some websites, since a nearby town has a Lane of the same name.
