Recommission of a sleeping 750

Hi
I’m guessing there is lots already posted about what I’m asking, but, I’m bringing my 750 home from storage and I’m expecting that it will have drained its oil into the crankcase.

How do I go about getting said oil out if that’s the situation?

Thanks in advance and any other useful tips welcome.
I’m planning to actually ride it to the SE Rally from up North if I’m successful.

You haven't said which Model H2, the later (B/C) ones have check valves under the front which you can remove to drain the bottom end.

If it's an early A/B, with the Plugs out you could try turning it over slowly on the Kickstart to see if it locks or turns freely, if it turns OK then you could pick up the pace a little, kick after kick, until you're happy she turns over without any impediment.
Or, if there is Oil down there, you can take the carbs off and put a small Pipe down to the bottom and suck any oil out a bit at a time.

But if the tank is dry or low on Oil, it is best to empty it completely and check the gauze filter in the outlet cap as it might well be blocked with crap that has settled out of the Oil while standing.

Three Turtle-ey shaped things under the front of the Engine behind the downpipes, take note which way round they came off.

Take the carbs off.
Put the piston at top dead centre on the first cylinder you want to check.
Get a plastic syringe with a length of pliable clear hose, feed it into the bottom of the cylinder and try to extract any oil that maybe there
