140 not out

Post by scouse »

About 3 weeks ago I installed new throttle slides, needle jet and jet needles in my 34's on my h2

these are the jet & needle specs that Leo recommended I fit ( he suggested this to me 2 yrs ago!!) in my 34's

I decided to take my h2 down to Sweet Angels and Harv's on Friday, it was a mixture of fast a roads and motorway, I mainly sat around 70, I finally went on reserve at 129 miles!!
I stopped for petrol at 140 and filled up with just over 13 litres!!

Leo always told me h2's can be made to run quite economically
but 46mpg... 8)

oh and it is still running rich so I need to drop the needles

I am so gobsmacked that I had to share it with you all

this is what Leo recommended me to fit

Pilotjet #40
Slide CA 2.5
Needlejet P4 (159)
Needle 6F9/3 or 6F21/4 (1 but richest)
Mains #230.

I fitted the 6F9 needle and I am on the 2nd clip from the top

I have had my heads reworked by Leo to lower the compression
72 barrels on standard bore
nev/leo pipes

hope this helps

I told all my friends down the pub about you changing needles and slides in your 34's.

They thought I was talking about a new style of denim jeans.
